If you are looking for a relaxed family getaway by the beach - this is the place for you! Driftwood Corner is just a short walk from the beach in the village of East Preston, West Sussex. East Preston is the perfect set up for family holidays and reunions. The house is situated on a private beach estate where residents enjoy a peaceful existence. If you are looking for a party venue with friends, this isn't the best property for you and we would appreciate it if you looked elsewhere. However, if you are looking to relax and enjoy some sea air with your family, please read on to hear more about this beautiful home! Driftwood Corner is the ideal dog-friendly beach retreat. Renovated during 2021, the home perfectly blends modern beach living intertwined with the original property interiors. Built with endless creativity, this home is full of repurposed interiors using materials sourced from the property itself and treasures found along the beach. From the moment you enter the driveway, you’ll see Driftwood Corner living up to its name, with driftwood pieces handcrafted throughout, from the walls to the furniture. The ground floor consists of the main living rooms, kitchen and dining area. A large gas cooker in the kitchen and custom built bench seating provides the perfect set up for all the family to relax and eat together after a long day at East Preston beach. Next door to the dining room, you’ll find two spacious living areas. For colder months, you can curl up on the comfy sofas and enjoy lighting a fire in the woodburner. Logs are provided for you! Step outside of the living room and you are greeted with a south facing garden, large patio and pergola, a charcoal BBQ and plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy! To the other side of the living area is a hanging bamboo seat, bound to be popular with the kids, or the perfect retreat to escape for an early morning coffee as the sun comes up and the day begins. Up the original staircase, you will find four bedrooms. A very spacious master bedroom, complete with a super-king bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower. Next door is the second master, with a king bed and another en-suite bathroom. Two further bedrooms with single beds share a family bathroom with a shower bath. Please note: The owners of this property live next door and utilise the same driveway. There are two spaces for guests at Driftwood Corner to the left of the driveway, the others are used by the property owners.

East Preston is a village located along the beach in West Sussex. The property itself is situated on a private sea estate, just a short walk from the beach and also the centre of the village which has some great cafe's, pubs and restaurants, most of which are dog-friendly. With quiet roads surrounding the property, it is the perfect safe place for kids to cycle and play at the beach. The closest train station, Angmering Station, is a 5 minute drive away from Driftwood Corner. Angmering Station has direct links to both Brighton (35 minutes) and London (1 hour and 35 minutes). Not only is Driftwood Corner located just metres from the beach, the location is perfect for visitors heading to a Goodwood weekend event, with the drive just 30 minutes from the house. Or for those looking for more of a history tour, Arundel and Chichester are close by, just 15 minutes and 30 minutes drive away! Driftwood Corner has it all!
